We the People was an American 30-minute talk show aired on CBS television (1948-1949) and then on NBC Television (1949-1952), hosted by Dan Seymour, sponsored by Gulf Oil, and produced by Life magazine. On October 24, 1949, NBC began broadcasting We the People from 8:30 to 9 p.m. Eastern Time on Fridays. It originated from WNBT. One of the shows in 1950 featured backstage interviews of Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey personel while at Madison Square Garden, New York City. That broadcast is included via the links below.
