Flip Herfort Demonstrates Positioning and Tone on his Collection of Horns

Philip “Flip” Herfort (WJU #2074) met with nearly 30 Windjammers and outlined the different instruments in the “horn” family. Flip shared his experiences whilst demonstrating various positions and air movement to achieve tone and ranges on a number of his horns.

Participants also learned a bit of the history and use of the instrument in performances. Did you learn anything? I sure did! WOW Flip! And thanks for bringing all of us up to speed about the horn… in all its forms.
