2025 Winter Convention January 7-12

The 2025 Windjammers Unlimited Winter Convention which will be held again in Venice, Florida. Convention registration for the 2025 winter convention is open by mail and online here.

Here is the website: Hotel Venezia. In order to reserve a room, call 941-315-8474 and say you are a reserving your room under the Windjammer rate. Hotel reservations close on 12/07/24. Members are responsible for getting their own rooms.

Concert schedule will be a Friday concert inside the Ringling, with plenty of time that day to visit the exhibits, a concert at the Venice Circus Train Car Museum on Saturday at 11 am and the Sailor Circus center ring concert and show Sunday afternoon. Rehearsal and recording sessions will be at the Hotel Venezia.

Registration Notes:

• If registering by mail, make checks payable to Windjammers Unlimited and mail to:
  Howard Habenicht, 82 Country Club Drive, Bloomingdale, IL 60108.   To view/download mail-in registration forms click here.
• To play in the Windjammer Band you must be a member in good standing at the time of the meet. Dues should be paid separately from convention registration.
• The registration fee includes the Saturday night banquet (do not forget to make a meal choice), and the Sunday buffet breakfast.
• We are not able to do partial registrations or walk-ins because our catering requires weeks of notice.
• Refunds are not available after December 7, 2024 the day hotel block registration also ends.
• We need to receive your registration by mail or online by the deadline: December 7, 2024.
• If you are renewing your membership by check, please pay with a separate check, made payable to Windjammers Unlimited and mailed to Howard Habenicht. Remember, you can also renew and pay online.
• The uniform for all performances is white dress shirt or blouse (long or short sleeve), black trousers or skirt, black shoes, black socks. .BRING A MUSIC STAND, battery light, wind clips etc.
